The attack kind of reminds of an “ultimate” in role-playing games whereas he stands there and things just go all crazy around him. V then does a devastating attack that uses all of his summonses. Vergil can also stab himself with a sword which switches places with V. This is the opposite of other characters that thrive on jumping around and performing insane combos without ever stopping. He focuses on staying calm and for the most part, standing still in combat which charges his concentration bar. There’s a lot of fun to be had here when playing as the returning character. The addition of Vergil just elevates this to another level. I always admired how Capcom managed to develop so many great characters in Devil May Cry 5 and deliver in-depth combat styles for each. In short, Vergilis yet another fantastic character to play as throughout the game’s main campaign. His Devil Trigger summons a clone that wields the Yamato and mimics the moves you perform as Vergil during combat too. He has three weapons to choose from, the Yamato blade, Beowolf gauntlet and the Mirage Edge which replaces the Force Edge. Not only did it bring someone new to pay as but his weapons and combat style varied from the characters already available. For the most part, the Virgil DLC was a welcome new addition to the main game. This DLC pack let you play the entire game as Vergil.
